Chris Aguila

Chris Aguila

 

Chris played for five MLB organizations (Miami, Pittsburgh, NY Mets, Toronto, and Philadelphia.) Over the span of his career, Chris played professionally in leagues of six different countries (US, Japan, Dominican Republic, Panama, Mexico, Italy, Australia). Chris reached the Major Leagues in 2004 with the Florida Marlins, also spending the 2005-2006 season with them. He played in the Majors Leagues with the New York Mets in 2008. Chris was a four-time minor league All Star, 2003 Southern League batting champion, and an all-time home run leader for the New Orleans Zephyrs AAA affiliate. In 1997, he was drafted in the 3rd round out of high school by the Florida Marlins, was an All-American Athlete, MVP of Nevada in baseball, and held the national and state home run record (29HRS). Other accomplishments include: European Cup Championship, 2 Minor League Championships, and World Baseball Classic Team Philippines.
