Nate Nolan

Liam Durling

Justin Seever

Nelson Padilla

Playing Career & Accomplishments:

  • I started playing baseball at 5 years old and played all the way through college. In high school I was named Northern Nevada Defensive player of year and 1st team all region. My sophomore year of college I was named to the OEC all conference team.

Teams/Organizations Coached or Played For:

  • I attended McQueen High School. In college, I played at Golden West College, Washington State University, and San Jose State University. I currently coach at Reno High School.

Motivation & Development Philosophy:

  • I like to emphasize the importance of consistency and focus. Whether it is working on your swing or learning something outside of baseball, being consistent and present is essential to improving. To be successful, you have to focus on getting a little bit better every single day.

Beyond Baseball Skills:

  • My goal is to teach my players how to maintain a consistent and high level work ethic. I believe confidence comes from your preparation. If my players feel prepared for baseball and for life, they will have the confidence they need to be successful at whatever they pursue.

  • Outside of baseball, I like to golf, play basketball, and spend time at the lake.

Advice for Aspiring Players:

  • I would tell young players to try to get better every single day and have fun. Baseball is a game and it is meant to be fun. Enjoy every minute of it.
